Authorities in Hudson County say they intercepted a tractor-trailer shipment with more 737 pounds of marijuana as it made a delivery to a warehouse in Kearny, estimated to be worth $1.5 million.

The tractor-trailer was found Friday after making a delivery to the warehouse.

Usman Ahmed, 31, of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and Manjot Aujal, 21, of Poughkeepsie, New York, were arrested and charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and first-degree manufacturing and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

Both were taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility and released on bail, pending court dates.
