Police: Crossing guard struck by hit-and-run driver in Teaneck

Teaneck police say that a crossing guard was struck by a hit-and-run driver Monday afternoon.

The guard was hit around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Teaneck Road and Route 4. This was right after school let out for the day.

Police say that the guard was hit by a gray or silver minivan, which was last seen traveling north on Teaneck Road.

The guard was taken to the hospital for injuries that did not appear to be live threatening.
