The North Brunswick Zoning Board has approved the town's first Chick-fil-A location, the fifth in Middlesex County, according to a report by MyCentralJersey.com.

The 6,066-square-foot restaurant will be located at 2313 Route 1, the site previously occupied by Bertucci's, which is now closed.

There is no word yet on an opening date.
