Police say a man from Toms River is in critical condition after getting pinned underneath his own pickup truck.
The incident happened Thursday around 6 p.m. on Genoa Avenue.
According to police, Juan Grandados-Chavez, 40, was reportedly working on his Chevy Silverado in his driveway when it rolled off the ramps and landed on him.
Police say Chavez was found by his wife pinned under the vehicle. His son, Pablo, says he used a floor jack to lift the passenger side of the vehicle up and drag his father out from underneath the vehicle, just prior to police arrival.
Chavez was flown by helicopter to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.
