The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office has identified the man who died in Tuesday's overnight fire in Colts Neck.
According to prosecutor's office, Joseph Apisa, 76, was trapped inside his first-floor bedroom. They say his body was recovered at the scene.
The fire broke out Tuesday around 2:22 a.m. at the home at 42 Raven Road, and burned for several hours before crews put it out before sunrise. The two-story home was completely destroyed by the fire.
