Dog at New Jersey animal sanctuary to be represented in Animal Planet's 3rd annual ‘Dog Bowl’

A dog at the animal sanctuary in Upper Freehold will be represented in Animal Planet's 3rd annual “Dog Bowl.”

Wendy, who is currently available for adoption at Marty's Place Senior Dog Sanctuary, is a starter on the final roster of the competition.

The 11-year-old Dachshund is competing for the first-ever Super Senior Award alongside dozens of other dogs from animal shelters across the U.S.

The Dog Bowl airs Feb. 1 at 8 p.m.
