Authorities: Woman irate over long lines at MVC office assaults staff, destroys computers

Authorities say a woman angry about long lines at a Motor Vehicle Commission office in Hudson County smashed computer equipment, assaulted two staffers and kicked police officers as they tried to arrest her.
Shawna Joseph was told to leave the MVC office in Bayonne after she became irate Tuesday. The 28-year-old Jersey City resident then returned about two hours later and caused another disturbance.
When she was confronted, Joseph allegedly pushed the office manager and began breaking computer equipment. Police say that she then struggled with the manager, a security guard and police officers before she was arrested.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was hurt in the struggle.
Joseph faces numerous counts, including criminal mischief, drug possession and aggravated assault.
