Hallmark recalls line of scented candles over fire, injury concerns

Hallmark is recalling a line of scented candles over fire and injury concerns.

The recall involves about 4,500 Balsam Soy-Blend Jar Candles.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the glass jar can break when the candles are lit, potentially sparking fires and causing lacerations.
No injuries have been reported so far, but the company has been notified of six incidents where the glass broke and started a fire.
The candles were sold exclusively at Norman’s Hallmark stores in New Jersey and Pennsylvania between September and December. The candle cost around $28.
Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the candles and return them to a store for a full refund.
