NJ students visit Rocky statue, get surprise appearance from Sylvester Stallone

Posted: Updated:

Students from Paterson received the surprise of a lifetime on a field trip in Philadelphia when they met Sylvester Stallone.

Eastside High School students were on a trip near the Rocky statue by the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

When the kids first got to the museum, somebody said, "Hey, you just missed Sylvester Stallone" -- that's when two black SUVs pulled up.

A window rolled down and it was Rocky asking the kids what school they all went to

When the kids said they were from Eastside in Paterson, Stallone got out and took some selfies with them.

He was there filming promotional videos near the statue.

A video posted on Instagram of the meeting has received over 800,000 views.
