Disney warns upcoming Star Wars movie could trigger seizures

A new warning for people planning to see "Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker" – Walt Disney Studios says the upcoming movie could trigger seizures in people with photosensitivity.

The company issued a statement with the Epilepsy Foundation, warning viewers about several scenes with sustained flashing lights.

According to the foundation, certain flashing lights can trigger seizures in about 3% of people with epilepsy.

The movie hits theaters next Friday, Dec. 20.
