Police say suspects are wanted for shooting a woman in Bridgeport Friday night.

Lynn Hill says her 38-year-old daughter was shot in the arm in a vehicle around 10 p.m. on Orland Street in Black Rock.

She says her daughter had just returned home from work when the gunfire rang out.

Hill adds that, if her daughter had not ducked, the gunshot may have been fatal.

Police say a total of nine shell casings were recovered and multiple shooters may be involved.

Hill says there have been two similar incidents in the past few months where her family members have narrowly escaped death.  

Police say they're in the process of collecting surveillance video and talking with witnesses to see if this case is connected to other recent shootings.

However, Hill says not enough is being done for her family’s safety.

The family has set up a fund to help them relocate out of the neighborhood.
