Lamont sets special election date for Camillo's state House seat

Gov. Ned Lamont has scheduled a date next month for a special election to fill the open state representative seat in the 151st Assembly district in the state House of Representatives.
The election will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020.
The seat represents parts of Greenwich. It became vacant earlier this week when Rep. Fred Camillo resigned, after he was elected first selectman of Greenwich last month.
Lamont also directed that week that special elections be held on Jan. 14 for two other vacant seats in the House of Representatives, including for the 48th Assembly District and the 132nd Assembly District.
