SantaCon is Saturday in Hoboken. NJ Transit has a warning: Leave your drinks at home

Saturday is SantaCon in Hoboken, and New Jersey Transit is sending out a warning ahead of time: leave your drinks at home.

According to NJ Transit, beverages will not be allowed on trains, buses, or light rail vehicles.

The agency says the policy will be strictly enforced.

SantaCon is an annual pub crawl where people dressed in Santa Claus costumes, or as other Christmas characters, parade in several cities around the world.

Participants are also encouraged to bring presents for underprivileged children, which will be donated to local charities.

Extra police will be around Hoboken.
