Coyote found at Rutgers tests negative for rabies

A coyote seen at Rutgers University has tested negative for rabies.

Rutgers police saw the animal on the Livingston campus, where two recent coyote attacks occurred.

They say it behaved strangely and was euthanized.

Police are advising people not to feed or approach animals in the wild.
