$5 or less . . . no more? Five Below increases prices for certain items

Posted: Updated:

Five Below, a popular store focusing on products $5 and under, is increasing prices for the first time in 17 years.

The store has traditionally only sold items for $5 or less, but will begin raising prices on certain items, including some games and tech products that could be priced up to $10.

But those items will be kept in a separate area of the store.

The toys and games priced up to $10 will be in a section called "Ten Below Gift Shop."

Electronics will be in the section called "."

Despite the change, the store will be keeping its original name.
