Cuomo's office hits back at report that he considered 2020 run

Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office is striking down rumors that the Democratic governor considered running for president.
According to one of Cuomo's senior advisers, the governor was never planning on entering the race.
It comes after a Newsday report cited sources who told the paper Cuomo had considered it if former Vice President Joe Biden dropped out.
A spokesperson for the governor denied the claim, saying, "Biden isn't faltering and he will not falter."
The report in Newsday said that the alleged discussion came at a time when Biden was lagging in the polls over the summer.
