Police: Woman who jumped into lion's den at Bronx Zoo arrested, charged

The woman captured on camera jumping into a lion's den at the Bronx Zoo has been arrested and charged with two counts of criminal trespassing.
Myah Autry, 32, was arrested Wednesday near the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Autry was in court last Friday for separate charges in Kearny, telling reporters she tried to turn herself in. Police say she was planning on turning herself in, and called police to tell them where she was going to be.
According to police, Autry entered the giraffe and lion exhibit back on Sept. 28 without permission or authority.
In an Instagram video, the trespasser can be heard telling the animals she loves them. News 12 has spoken with zoo visitors who said this was nothing more than a plea for social media attention.
The Bronx Zoo has called it a serious violation and an unlawful trespass.
