Rainy weather didn’t stop the annual Toms River Halloween parade

The annual Toms River Halloween parade went off without a hitch, despite a rainy Halloween evening.
The parade is said to be the second-largest Halloween parade in the country, coming in behind the New York City Halloween Parade.
Hundreds of marchers and thousands of spectators filled the streets for the event. Spectators began reserving seating along Washington Street early Thursday morning.
The parade is presented by the Toms River Volunteer Fire Company.
This is the 81st year of the parade.
