Authorities searching for a missing West Point Cadet have found his body.

According to authorities, Kade Kurita, 20, of California, was found dead Tuesday night at West Point.

The U.S. Military says the cadet was last seen Friday at the academy. Kurita was scheduled to participate in a military skills competition this past weekend, but failed to show up.

Officials say the cadet's M4 rifle was also missing.

The cause of death is under investigation, but foul play is not suspected.
