Funeral held for girl thrown from spinning ride

A funeral was held Saturday for the 10-year-old who died on an amusement park ride in Deerfield Township last week.

Hailey McMullen was thrown from a spinning ride.

Similar rides were shut down by the state as investigators look into what happened.

The family held a private funeral for the girl Saturday.

Her father is a Salem Township police sergeant.

The Officer Association is collecting money for the family.
