A Brooklyn teen is making music to help save lives.

At just 17 years old, DJ Albert Green has released a new song online to raise money for cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Last year, Green dropped his first album, using his talent and passion as a DJ to raise money for cancer patients.
“Out of nowhere I just said why don't I throw this all together make it into an album called ‘F Cancer’ and donate all the proceeds of it,” says Green

He raised more than $11,000 and donated the money to “F Cancer.”
For Green, the cause hits home.

"I had five family members that have passed away from cancer within the past 7-8 years. All it cost me is $30 to upload so why not profit off that, give it to someone and then let them benefit,” says Green.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, he's released a new single called “Live Again.” Green says the song has a lot of meaning.

“There are millions of patients that don't get to talk, so we have to talk for them,” says Green.

He's hoping not just the money raised, but the lyrics can make a difference in people’s lives.
"I hope they feel connected and I hope they understand what people are going through because not many people do,” says Green.

In just one day, Green's new single already has nearly 3,000 streams.

He says this is just the beginning for him in making music to make a difference.

"I feel like this is a big role in my life. I feel like this is what I have to do,” says Green.
