Health officials confirm case of hepatitis A in Paterson

The New Jersey Department of Health is warning of a confirmed case of hepatitis A in Paterson.

The patient worked as a food handler at Brother's Produce on East Railway Avenue.

Customers at the store between Sept. 30 and this past Saturday could be infected.

Hepatitis A is a disease of the liver caused by a virus.
