A groom in Pennsylvania accused of sexually assaulting his wife-to-be's bridesmaid two days before the wedding is free on bond.
The incident happened back in August at the Shawnee Inn Resort in Monroe County.
Daniel Carney, 28, of Stroudsburg, made his first court appearance Monday in Pennsylvania, and was arraigned on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of an unconscious person, simple assault, and indecent assault.
According to court papers, the group spent the day drinking alcohol, and the bridesmaid became very drunk. Court papers say she blacked out at the inn and woke to find herself in the men's locker room with Carney fondling her and her bikini bottom removed.

Police say the bridesmaid was intoxicated when Carney assaulted her, but it ended when Carney's fiancée, the bride, walked in the room during the incident. This led to a physical fight between the bride and groom.
At least part of the assault was captured on surveillance cameras.
The wedding apparently went forward.
He was reportedly released on $100,000 unsecured bail.
