Pequannock police on the hunt for Wells Fargo bank robber

Posted: Updated:

Pequannock police are on the hunt for a man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Route 23 Thursday morning.

Authorities say that the bank was robbed around 10:45 a.m. by an older white man. The man had a black beard – which may be fake – along with a black and white Adidas jacket with a hood.

The man apparently walked into the bank, demanded money from the teller, and then left.

No one was hurt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at 973-285-6200 or the Pequannock Police Department at 973-835-1700.
