WalletHub has released its list of 2019’s Best & Worst States for Teachers, and New Jersey received some high praise.

The website looked at several factors, such as salaries, job security, and academic environments.

According to the list, the Garden State was ranked the second best state for teachers.

The state also ranked as the second best school system in the country, the fourth lowest pupil to teacher ratio and the fourth highest public-school spending per student.

North Dakota was ranked the best state for teachers, while Arizona was ranked last.
