The American Dream mega mall is set to open next month, but not all of the stores will be open.

Mall managers unveiled details for a string of opening celebrations, described as "chapters."

Officials say only the Nickelodeon indoor theme park and ice rink will be open when the mall opens to the public Oct. 25.

The water park will open in November, followed by the indoor snow park in December.

The rest of the mall will open next March, including the 350 stores and 100 dining options.

The mega mall is set to open after around 15 years of construction.

The project has been plagued by financial problems since the first contract was awarded in 2003.

American Dream will feature 3 million square feet of retail, dining and entertainment, including more than 450 stores and restaurants.
