Amazon puts in order for 100,000 electric deliver vehicles

Impossible Foods has finally made it to the supermarket, but only if you live in the Golden State. Today, its plant-based burgers will be ready to buy at the Gelson's Markets chain in southern California. A 12-ounce package will run you $8.99 or roughly $3 a burger.

Amazon is putting in an order for 100,000 electric delivery vehicles made by EV startup Rivian Automotive. The order is part of Amazon's plan to convert its delivery fleet to renewables by 2030. The order is the largest for electric vehicles to date.

On-demand service Postmates wants to make sure it delivers when it comes to Wall Street. The delivery service secured $225 million in new capital at a $2.4 billion valuation ahead of an expected IPO. Postmates is considered a unicorn – a company with a $1 billion or more valuation.
