Shake Shack has announced an opening date for its second restaurant in South Jersey.

The restaurant will open Saturday at 11 a.m. on 795 Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill near Garden Park Boulevard, part of a site that formerly held the Garden State Park racetrack.

According to an official, the 3,620-square-foot restaurant will seat about 125 people and offer patio seating at tables with tops made from recycled bowling alley lanes.

Shake Shack entered the South Jersey market in March 2018 with a location in Marlton Commons at the intersection of Routes 73 and 70.

The restaurant chain began back in 2004 in New York City's Madison Square Park.

The chain now has more than 250 locations in the U.S. and abroad.
