The Tick Tock Diner on Route 3 in Clifton will be closed for renovations starting Monday.

This is the first renovation in 25 years for the restaurant.

The plan calls for a new interior design, new furniture, a new bar and an upgraded kitchen.

The closure will last for about four to six weeks.

The Tick Tock Diner has been around since 1948.
