Two more vaping-related deaths have been confirmed by officials, bringing the death toll nationwide from the mysterious illness to five.
According to officials, an older adult in Los Angeles County, as well as a 65-year-old from Minnesota, were the latest confirmed cases.
Health officials in Indiana said this week a person over 18 years of age had died there. Illinois and Oregon each have confirmed additional deaths.
In New Jersey, two cases of vaping-related illness have been confirmed by the state Department of Health. Their ages ranged from 17 to 45 years old
Thirteen others are under investigation.
No deaths have been reported in the state.
So far, the CDC said 450 cases of vaping-related lung illnesses in 33 states are under investigation.
