Some of the top drag queens from all over the world descended on New York City on Friday. 

RuPaul's DragCon NYC 2019 kicked off at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan Friday afternoon. 

This is the third year RuPaul and World of Wonder Productions have hosted DragCon in New York. DragCon has been presented in Los Angeles for five years. 

DragCon is a three-day convention featuring vendors, performances, panel discussions, fashion shows, and meet & greets with drag talent. It's the world's largest event celebrating drag culture. 

The event is open to all ages, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 8.
