‘God in his sense of humor’ -- Wisconsin Christian school to open at site of former strip club

A new Christian school is about to open in Wisconsin in a building that used to house a strip club – and some of the remnants remain.
The Ozaukee Christian School will begin classes this month in a building that once housed the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club.
The stripper pole is gone, but the stage, bar and leopard-print carpet are still in place.
The old strip club, fittingly, is part of an old strip mall.
"God in his sense of humor said I'm going to take that which was meant for not necessarily great purposes in the life of a family and I'm going to instead transform it in to a place of life and light and hope and joy," says Kris Austin, administrator of Ozaukee Christian School.
Classes begin later this month on the other end of the building -- the side that used to be a day care.

The school says it will look to transform the rest of the mall for its students.
The location is about an hour northwest of Milwaukee.
