Posted: Updated:

Movie ticket subscription service MoviePass says a data breach may have exposed customer’s credit card numbers.

According to website Tech Crunch, the breach happened because a server was not password protected.

They say tens of thousands of customers may have had their info stolen.

Moviepass is not confirming the number of people affected, but does say the system is secure again.

The company will continue to share information about the incident.
