A man from Randolph caught on video staging a slip-and-fall incident by throwing ice on the floor and laying down has pleaded guilty to insurance fraud charges.
According to police, Alexander Goldinsky, 57, was seen on video earlier this year throwing the ice on the floor while working at a Woodbridge company, then laying down.
An investigation indicated Goldinsky waited on the floor until he was discovered.
He pleaded guilty to third-degree insurance fraud by admitting he staged the incident and gave false information to medical personnel.
He’s is scheduled to be sentenced in November.
Goldinsky is an independent contractor who owns the company All Gold Industries. When the incident occurred, Goldinsky was subcontracted to perform work at a company in Woodbridge, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office says
