A fire in New Brunswick produced a smoke plume that could be seen for miles.
The fire started around 1 p.m. Monday behind GVB International located at 1 Home News Row. Fire officials say that pallets loaded with plastic caught fire. The fire did not spread to the building.
Witnesses tell News 12 New Jersey that thick, black smoke could be seen for miles due to the burning plastic.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
