Police seek driver in deadly hit-and-run crash in Union

UNION TOWNSHIP -

Union County authorities are searching for the driver responsible for killing a 12-year-old boy in a hit-and-run crash.

Jeremy Maraj was struck by a white commercial van near Forest Drive and Galloping Hill Road in Union Township Wednesday evening. He was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries Friday morning.

Police have not released a description of the driver.

Union County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
