HACKENSACK -

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission was in Bergen County Friday to show off its mobile unit van.

The van provides motor vehicle services onsite for those who can’t make it to an MVC office.

MVC agents in the van are able to issue driver licenses, registrations and handicapped placards.

Community Engagement Manager Tanya Gauthier says that the van has three work stations so New Jersey residents are able to quickly fill out their forms and be on their way.

The MVC has been rolling out the mobile unit throughout New Jersey since February. The van was in Hackensack Friday.
