Company recalls ground bison after over a dozen reported sicknesses
Northfork Bison Distributions Inc. has recalled ground bison after an outbreak of E. coli was linked to the products, sickening people in New Jersey.

Northfork Bison Distributions Inc. has recalled ground bison after an outbreak of E. coli was linked to the products, sickening people in New Jersey.
According to the CDC, more than 20 people reported getting sick from the ground bison, including two people in New Jersey.
The CDC says the product was produced between Feb. 22 and April 30.
The ground bison was sold to distributors as patties.
Consumers are advised to not eat the products and throw them away immediately.
