It first opened in Syracuse in the 1980s, but now it's a staple of New York City.

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que has been in Gowanus since 2013, and many residents say it has the best barbecue in the city.

With eight locations across the Tri-State area, customers say they get value for their money with consistency and quality ingredients.

"This place has the best wings I've ever had," one customer said "When you eat it, it has like a smoke ring that typically a brisker or something would get."

A garlic chipotle hot sauce, Sensuous Slathering sauce and Wango Tango Habanero hot barbecue sauce are on every table to top off any meat on the menu. All the sauces are homemade and shipped all over the country.
