Autopsy completed on actor Cameron Boyce; cause of death still pending

Authorities have completed an autopsy on actor Cameron Boyce, but a cause of death is still pending.

The 20-year-old died Saturday afternoon. A family spokesperson said that Boyce died in his sleep from a seizure caused by an ongoing medical condition.

A toxicology report has also been ordered, according to RadarOnline.com. The website reports that the toxicology report is part of the ongoing investigation into the actor’s death.

Boyce was best known for playing Carlos de Vil in the Disney Channel “Descendants” movie,” as well as starring alongside Adam Sandler in “Grown Ups” and “Grown Ups 2.”

"Descendants 3" is scheduled to be released in August.
