Police are searching for the man they say robbed a bank Friday.

It happened at the Wells Fargo on South Orange Avenue in Newark around 1:30 p.m.

Authorities say the man threatened the teller, demanded cash and got away with about $500.

Newark police are asking anyone with information to contact police.
