Mechanical issues cause schedule changes on Cape May-Lewes Ferry

Posted: Updated:
CAPE MAY -

Mechanical issues caused schedule changes on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Friday morning.

Six ferries were canceled – three at each ferry terminal. Only the Cape Henolopen and Delaware ferries were operating.

Officials did not specify the type of mechanical issues, and it was unclear when full ferry service would be restored. Passengers are advised to check the ferry schedule before departing.

The ferries take passengers from New Jersey to Delaware.
