Train fire causes delays on Northeast Corridor Rail Line

It was a commuting nightmare Monday when a fire on an Amtrak work train temporarily halted service on the Northeast Corridor Rail Line.
A fire was reported just before 3 p.m. Monday on the tracks near the Hamilton station.
The fire caused service disruptions from New York Penn Station all the way to Trenton.
There were residual delays once service resumed about an hour later.
Amtrak did not say what caused the fire, but there were no reports of any injuries.
