Overturned tractor-trailer causes major traffic delays on Route 80

An overturned tractor-trailer on Route 80 in Warren County caused major traffic delays Friday.

New Jersey State Police say that the crash happened just after 1 p.m. near mile marker 1.2 in Hardwick Township. Police say that multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, but that there were only minor injuries.

All lanes were closed in the area due to the crash, and motorists were being detoured. Traffic was still heavily delayed by 10 p.m.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
