Firefighters had to rescue a 1-year-old child trapped inside the ball pit of a claw game at the Gloucester Premium Outlets.

The incident happened Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. at the shopping center in the Blackwood-section of Gloucester Township.

Emergency crews were called to the scene after the child managed to get inside the machine through the prize door at the shopping center.

According to firefighters, the child was not hurt in the mishap and was reunited with family members.

It’s unclear how the child got inside the ball pit.
