Taxi drivers, cyclists make nice during Brooklyn bike-ride

Taxi drivers and cyclists in New York City are usually at odds, but on Wednesday, they came together to smooth things over.
The Taxi and Limousine Commission-licensed drivers and cyclists took a bike ride together in Bushwick and Williamsburg. Along the way, the two sides shared their perspectives on how they operate on the road.
The event was organized by the TLC to change a conversation that sometimes only exists in shouts and foul language.
Cyclist Jim Burke told News 12 that the event was “eye-opening.”
The ride only took about a half-hour, but participants say it will leave a lasting impression.
