Police: Armed suspects held homeowner at gunpoint, stole cash and valuables

OAKLAND -

Three men have been arrested following an armed home invasion in Oakland where a homeowner was held at gunpoint.

The incident happened back in the early morning hours of March 24 on River Road.

Kyle Weichelt, of Bergenfield, Marcos Rodriguez, of Clifton, and Michael Valle, of Garfield, were all arrested and remanded to the custody of the Bergen County Jail.

According to police, two armed suspects broke into the home and held the homeowner at gunpoint.

Police say they then ransacked the home, taking cash and valuables from the victim.

The homeowner was able to get away and call police, but the suspects got away.
