Strong thunderstorms cross through New Jersey

Strong thunderstorms crossed through New Jersey Thursday bringing heavy rain and strong winds.

The storms lasted for most of the afternoon and evening hours and even produced threats of a tornado for a time late Thursday night.

Friday is expected to see mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low-70s.

Memorial Day weekend should see a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the mid-70s on Saturday and temperatures in the 80s Sunday and Monday.
