ION Audio is recalling around 41,000 portable speakers after several reports of explosions.

The recall applies to the Sport Express, Cornerstone, Cornerstone Glow, and Keystone Audio portable speakers.

According to the company, hydrogen gas can leak from the portable speaker battery when charging and the speaker can burst, posing an explosion hazard.

The company has received five reports of the speakers exploding.

Property has been damaged, but there have been no injuries.

Consumers should stop using the recalled portable speakers and contact the company for a refund.
