Prosecutor: Comedian Artie Lange arrested for parole violation

New Jersey comedian Artie Lange has been arrested again for a parole violation.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says Lange was arrested Tuesday morning because he “was not in compliance with the terms of the drug program.” A spokesperson for the prosecutor could not provide more details due to confidentiality agreements for drug court participants.

Lange had been previously charged with drug possession and has been staying at a halfway house in Clinton Township.

Recent posts on Lange’s Twitter pages stated that he was working several local jobs, such as pumping gas and working sanitation.
